To ensure the safety of all patrons and guests, Maine Savings Amphitheater has created the following code of conduct and policy guidelines. Please review and follow the rules and policies below as failure to abide by them may result in expulsion from the venue without refund.
The Maine Savings Amphitheater implements a range of rules and regulations to ensure the safety and security of everyone within the venue. These regulations must be followed at all times.
If the rules and policies of the amphitheater are not abided by, you might be subject to ejection without refund (at the discretion of the management). Let’s take a look at some of the regulations at the Maine Savings Amphitheater.
Bag policy
As is the case with most concert venues, there are specific regulations surrounding the type of bag that you are allowed to bring into the amphitheater. The following bags are permitted in the venue:
- » Clear, vinyl, PVC, or plastic bags that do not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches.
- » One-gallon plastic freezer bags that are clear (or similar).
- » Small clutch bags that are no larger than 8 inches by 5 inches by 2 inches, so roughly the same size as a hand. Clutch bags are permitted to have a strap or a handle.
Guests can bring one large clear bag or a one-gallon bag into the venue, along with a small clutch bag. Both bags must comply with the above sizings.
If you arrive at the venue with a bag that is not in compliance with the bag policy, you will be asked to return it to your vehicle (if you came by car). If you do not have a car to return the bag to, you may not be allowed in the venue.
There are sometimes exceptions to the bag policy, such as medical reasons. If you have a valid reason to bring a bag with you that is larger than the bag policy states, contact the venue beforehand to make a query. You can do so by emailing at [email protected].
Camera policy
The only cameras that are allowed in the venue are small point-and-shoot cameras. Professional cameras, recorders, and video cameras are not allowed. Using the flash function on a camera is also not allowed.
Cashless policy
The Maine Savings Amphitheater is a cashless venue. All concessions only accept payments via credit card, debit card, or mobile payments, such as via Google Pay or Apple Wallet.
Inside the venue, there are two locations where guests can convert any cash that they have and transfer it onto gift cards.
Child policy
For the majority of events at the Maine Savings Amphitheater, children three years of age or older will need a ticket to enter the venue.
Any child younger than three does not need a ticket, but they cannot occupy a separate seat. Instead, they will have to sit on the lap of their parents or guardians during an event.
If you have a child who needs a stroller, you will be able to bring the stroller into the venue with you. It will be subject to a search when you enter, and it must be able to fit under your seat. It cannot be left in the aisles or obstruct the views of other guests.
Security will inform you if you need to fold your stroller to close it during an event. They reserve the right to do so, and you may be ejected from the venue if you refuse to do so.
Health and safety
Emergency medical technicians will be readily available inside the venue should any health or medical emergencies arise.
In the event of an emergency, guests will be asked to evacuate the premises until the area is deemed safe. The staff at the amphitheater will be on hand to guide you and give you directions during the evacuations. Please follow their instructions and remain calm to ensure a swift and efficient evacuation process.
To keep things safe during your time at the venue, please do not stand or sit in the aisles. The aisles need to be kept clear at all times for health and safety purposes.
Lost and found
If you are concerned that you might have lost something during your time at the amphitheater, you can fill out a lost and found claim form. These forms can be found online on the venue’s website.
You will need to specify the item that you have lost and provide a description along with your contact details when filling out this form. You can find a link to the lost and found claim form here.
